Jon comes from a well privileged background with both his parents being successful divorce lawyers. His childhood saw him presented with every opportunity and privilege any child would hope for. Due to the nature of their professions the proceedings took 9 years to finalize which was traumatic on little Jonny.

This forced him to find a new escape. He had flown to Amsterdam and gotten a sex change and worked as a nail technician for 14 years until he was kicked out by immigration for reasons unknown. After several oddjobs and gigs, he was hired by the founder of MensLife to gather a team of writers to create a website that talked about men and relationships. His experience on both sides was a key to him winning the job.
